The source of this information is JustWatch.
For the time being TMDb can only put this information on the Site.
TMDb is not yet authorized to make it available through the API.
There are talks. But nothing decided.

Our availability data is powered by JustWatch and is not available on the API at this time.
We've been discussing some options with JustWatch to allow this but have not decided on anything specific just yet.
I detailed some of the details on the Trello ticket here. It's important to note this is not going to return full deep links, but rather, it's just enough information to display what's available where. You can link to TMDb's /watch pages if you want to provide full deep links. We may do more with JustWatch on the API in the future, but for now this is what we've decided on.

We've pushed a new method called watch providers, which can be found at the following two paths:
