Is this problem also occurring in previous versions?
Apparently this problem is taking place in this latest version.
Version: 3.1.3 Build: 2020-02-19 18:07
That is, the version released on 2020-02-19
I believe that the problem is not some change made here on TMDb.
Probably the problem is caused by some changes made in this latest version.
And in this case, only TMM authors can solve the problem.
EDIT
I personally use MediaElch.
Yesterday I made several Scrapers and everything worked perfectly.

Indeed, I can verify this looks to only be a problem in China.
I used some online testing tools to check and it looks like this block is only affecting api.themoviedb.org. www.themoviedb.org is working fine (which is why you can access the website).

Ok, seems like I can only use other VPN or wait for help.

So why I can use kodi to scrape the themoviedb, I think it's also use api...
that doesn't make sense...
wondering...

Really? You are from China too? My Kodi TMDB scraper doesn't work either.
hello suckers~~ i got to say. as a chinese . these forums are really hard to regist.
solution is here: change your PC's system host . the host file is locate at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
open the host file with note. then u will see this:
# Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost
Just add this IP address downbelow and save the file. replace the old host file.
IP address: 13.224.161.90 api.themoviedb.org
Then enjoy the scrape u suckers~~
Hope that somebody can tell the issue to the developer. see what problem cause it happened. Dont know why I cant get registed in that forum of KODI :)

Yes, I heard it depends on the broadband intercarrier. I am still thinking of how to solve my Kodi that installed on my Android TV box, I think the TMDB scraper on Kodi still doesn't work. Or maybe you know how to write the DNS file on Android?
