There is a "feature cut" of the Stargate Origins series called "Stargate Origins: Catherine". https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8657468/
IMHO this should be considered a movie. But apparently it existed on TDMB in the past and got removed/merged. https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/531142-stargate-origins-catherine
At the moment it is neither a special nor a movie on TMDB.

In France, it is available via the MGM channel of Amazon Prime, see my screenshot above. I just recheck now.
Based on your screenshots in English, I doubt that you are physically located in France.

Not available in Germany, too. Do you have a link for German VoD services? Ridiculous

I didn't say that it is available everywhere. I was just answering to @Wehrmacht that was saying that the series has been completely replaced everywhere by the movie.

I can confirm that the series is available in Germany. I just got the 7-day trial of MGM+ on Prime Video to confirm that.
I still think the movie should be listed on TMDB as well.
I don't get why "TV episodes edited into a proper theatrical movie (e.g. Pippi Longstocking)" are allowed, while "Films originally released as a web series or as a season of a web series." are not.
I think most people use TMDB for their movie and tv show libraries and missing the metadata of a movie because it "originally released as a web series" is absurd to say the least.

I'm not interested in whether Stargate Origins came out as a series or not, the fact is that the film version exists so it should also be in the database!!!

No. As per our rules, only the original version should be in the database.

Well as this isn’t the only movie (or show) that the rules don’t make sense, I guess I’m just lucky enough that I was able to grab the Metadata from The movie version before it was deleted. So I’ll chalk it up to inflexibility (not on my part), and let it go. (At least I was able to prove my point on Doctor Who though, lol)

Yes, I don't understand these strange rules either, they don't make any sense. Because imdb and ofdb have also listed it as a film. https://www.ofdb.de/film/350862,Stargate-Origins-Catherine/ https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8657468/

The rules are wrong, the authors decided to make a film of the series, and here the puritans tell us that the author has no right to do that, the authors must comply with our rules...
For me, the rules should change to solve the problem, because the problem is the rules and not the authors.
Unless you are saying that authors do not have the artistic right to make a film from a series, or from a film to make a series.
When they give me laconic answers like "No. According to our rules, only the original version should be in the database.", I do not even know what answer to give...
It is more than obvious; it is the rules that need correction.
The same problem happens with the series "Ghost in the Shell: Arise - Alternative Architecture", https://www.themoviedb.org/tv/62070-ghost-in-the-shell-arise/season/1, in which the said "original", there are 4 files (OVAs), where the authors later made a series of these OVA's, dividing each OVA's into 2 episodes, where they later decided to make 2 more episodes, from these new episodes they created an OVA “Ghost in the Shell: Arise - Border 5: Pyrophoric Cult”, https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/1157408-arise-pyrophoric-cult, a film that was eliminated dozens of times by the so-called “puritans”, as well as being eliminated from the collection by so-called “puritans”…
It is more than obvious, it is the rules that are wrong, and need correction to accommodate the artistic works of the authors.
And the puritans must clean the cobwebs from their attics…
Sorry for the repetition, it is to make a point for some…

If I were a mod here I would totally follow all of the rules to a “T”…until my “own” community of registered users requested a 1-off case. At that point I would make an exception if it had enough people interested in doing so.
For example in the case of Doctor Who: If more people wanted to keep the 2005 then so be it, but after reading all the discussions on both sides the 2023 version had the 2005 version out numbered 3 to 2, so at that point I would end the 2005 series and start the new 2023 series (which is what they finally ended up doing, but only after many of us quoted interviews from the show runner and BBC themselves).

The "Bible" talks about making exceptions to the rules in special cases. I think this is one of those special cases.
