How Anime next episodes are updated?

Is everything crowdsourced or do you manage to update those pieces of information from an automatic source? Because I see that many animes (famous one like Black Clover) does not have a Next Episode in the TV Show detail and I'm a little worried by this because I'm building a voice app to check my daily calendar
