The Movie Database Support

Images are not downloaded

I made a scraper now using MediaElch.
TMDb sent neither photos of the cast nor poster or fanart.
Metadata only.
The last scraper I made and it worked correctly was on 2019-10-07 10:21

Hey @ticao2 do images load here on the website? If so, we return the same URL's on the website as we do on the API so Iā€™m not sure what could be going on.

What's an example URL that isn't working?

Yes.

What's an example URL that isn't working?

To give a sample URL, I need to ask the MediaElch developer.
Or I can try to find out on GitHub. I do not know if I can.

I have 2 MediaElch installed in Portable mode.
2.6.0 stable, the old, and 2.6.2 stable, the new.
The two scraper the same folders.
I don't think this is a problem with the requested URL.
2.6.0 uses the same URL for at least 1 year.
Both are behaving the same way.
Yesterday, no picture.
Now, on the first try, it was the same as yesterday.
But then I got the posters of 1 movie.

So I will try to find out what the URL is and put it here.

In GitHub I can only access MediaElch files from new version 2.6.3
I am appealing to my memory.
It appears that TMDb is being structurally modified.

Is there an issue reguarding the TMDB scraper?
it's grabbing all the info requested but it's not downloading the actor thumbnails.

EDIT: I don't think I went crazy. Looks like it's not just me. grin

Ok, so MediaElch's problem is probably the fact that it looks like they are still using our old, old, old (did I mention older_man_tone2) domain, cf2.imgobject.com. That domain was deprecated back in like, 2013 or something. See here.

I think I can restore access to imgobject.com fairly easily.

Edit: cf2.imgobject.com has been restored. Example: http://cf2.imgobject.com/t/p/w1000_and_h563_face/jC1KqsFx8ZyqJyQa2Ohi7xgL7XC.jpg

I made 5 Scrapers and everything worked correctly. grinning
I will inform MediaElch about our conversation.
I think they'd better update the URL. imp

EDIT
I think they already made the correction. grin
