Why is there not a way to search public lists ?

I end up using my usual search engine to find lists on the movie DB. It sounds like a pass on an easy feature that would be very useful I think. For example, anything topical is almost impossible to find (Cannes 2019, the oscars etc)

You are correct that it has not been implemented yet. I'm also hoping for this to happen.
