Just curious since this field and others are greyed out. Noticed one of the movies i was interested in has an incorrect title, a problem was reported about it, but it hasnt changed in over a month. If TMDB is anything like wikipedia, there would be different edit privilege levels.
Thanks.

Sometimes it might take up to 2 months for a report to get dealt with by a mod. From the a section in the contribution bible:
"Be patient! We receive a high volume of reports. Getting a reply may take a few weeks or more. You can bump your request after two months."
Generally, all users can edit pretty much everything on a film's entry. Sometimes, usually for the more popular titles, mods will lock certain fields where there is lots of users disagreeing or entering different incorrect information, or where they themselves have checked it and entered the information, etc. I don't think there are different privilege levels, just users and mods.

That is correct. And with Travis at the top with full access to everything under the hood.

Is there a mod application?

Not really, no. We usually look for long time members being active reporting errors (content reports) and making good contributions editing. Being able to absorb our Contribution Bible is also a positive. I had been a member for about six months when I was asked.
