Possible to grab a large number of movies with their cast with one request?

Hi, totally new to API's and programming in general here, so apologies in advance for my simplistic questions! I'm trying to grab a large amount of movies with their cast with a single request; however, '&append_to_response=credits' only seems to work if you search for a specific movie id as opposed to using discover, so I can only grab one movie and its cast at a time. Is there a better way of doing this?

Is there a better way of doing this?

I think not.
But, perhaps, someone might suggest an easier way.
Maybe Travis Bell can help.

No, this is the only way. There is no bulk get method. I have an open ticket to think about this here.
