I tired the steps for the api key and I got a key but me putting it in a addon is not working. do i need a new key?

At the end of your Profile page you will find a test requisition.

Copy and paste in your browser's Address Bar. https://api.themoviedb.org/3/movie/550?api_key=[THE_KEY]
If the data comes from the movie ID 550, Fight Club (1999), then your Key is working correctly.
Your problem should be solved with those responsible for creating the Addon or APP.

im using a firestick with a kodi build and it is already on the build so when i put the api key i didnt see nothing change .
