The Movie Database Support

Does tmdb have an api for where to watch a movie, or is there anywhere I can find an api that does this. Thanks in advance.

No and no. TMDb is a database only - you can't watch movies here! no_good_tone3

Thanks for the response but maybe I wasn't clear enough. Where to watch/rent/buy a movie in the sense that an api that gives you links of where the movie or tv show might be available to watch such as netflix, hulu, itunes, etc.

Again thanks in advance

Hi @haroldlomo15,

We don't have any of that data and I'm not really aware of any services that do. You'll have to go looking.

Cheers.

Hello. There are 2 services I know of so far justwatch.com and reelgood.com. Both claim to provide an API for 'where-to-watch' data. However, I've tried contacting them about it but they seem to be really slow to respond. It's been a week now frowning_face

@travisbell isn't there a way tmdb can provide this. If not, what would it take to provide such data? I'm really interested in this.

Thanks in advance.

Just to clarify what I mean by 'interested.' I would like to know how to provide such 'where-to-watch' data and seeing that tmdb is so far doing a great job providing movie and tv data, maybe you could advice me on how it's done so that I can do it myself, if at all possible.
