The contribution bible says that :
Season posters have a minimum resolution of 400x578px.
However when I click the "Add Poster" button for a season of a tv show the pop-up screen says:
Posters must meet the following criteria:
A maximum resolution of 2000x3000
A minimum resolution of 500x750
One of these has got to be wrong, no?

The pop up thingy is misleading. The minimum resolution is lower for season posters and episode backdrops.

Yeah, maybe a little oversight! The same text seems to be used for all posters and backdrops.

I think it should be fixed; it's the reason why I'm only now adding episodic backdrops to tv entries. That pop-up is misleading and now I know there is at least one show that I know of whose network's website has closed and isn't archived (on wayback machine) that probably had episodic backdrops available that I could have added had I known that the minimum resolution is lower.

Wait, if I understand you correctly the actual minimal image size for TV episodes is 400x225 pixels as stated in contribution bible, not 1280x720 pixels as presented while uploading episode backdrops on TMDB?

Huh?I meant *had there not been a pop up thing that confused me. It's easy to forget a sentence in the contribution bible if there is conflicting info in the editing interface. Either that... or I had considered adding episodic backdrops before learning about that sentence in the contribution bible... and did not go back to it after learning before it was too late (before the website closed down).Yes, that's right.
