Just curious. There's are a number of guidelines about whether or not a short film is allowed on the database, are there any for web series (at all)? What exactly qualifies as a web series?
And while I'm asking about web series in general I might as well ask about one I'm considering adding to the db: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLOMJNGCENQ-9QLinPIpybJ8YPPl_jhPdE
Would this be accepted in the database?

I guess the blurry line between "series of YouTube videos" and "web series." The videos have no proper credits (except the Created By credits). So I was leading toward it not being a "proper" series. But they crowfounded it as a series and EW also referred to it as a web series. Not sure if it should matter, though. Therefore, confusion.

What about a web series called, "Besties"?
The series seems to have proper credits, but I think it was just released directly onto YouTube. Here's a playlist of the series on a channel called, "The Only Productions": https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLyzEzpPIUjQ0Hp5c4gaCR-hOQ5zn-fl9N.
I believe that's the YouTube channel of a production company called 'The Only Productions', and I believe this is their website, this is their FaceBook page, and this is their instagram page (looks like they're not an established production company).
I didn't see much buzz about the web series on the net with a quick search (though I might look more into that soon and report back), but a famous drag queen guest stars in one of the episodes? Edit: (i.e. Bob the Drag Queen)
EDIT x 3: Bob the Drag Queen is also advertised as the Executive Producer in this and this poster- and here's one of the posters advertised up on Bob's FaceBook page.
I am unsure about this one
Edit: the web series is mentioned in an article here? Seems like a legit sounding website

It's a little late and perhaps irrelevant now, but I would like to say that the reason why I thought Bryan Dechart was an established actor was mainly because he played one of the main characters in the very successful video game, "Detroit: Become Human" (this is what what my response should've been).
I know TMDB does not include video games as part of the db, and his role in Detriot: Become Human would not be included in Bryan's entry here on the db (and, for the record, I'm not contesting that video games shouldn't be included in the db- I actually agree with video game not being included), but I'm not sure that rules out that his role in that game could make him be considered an "established" actor. Unless of course, "established" requires multiple mainstream roles, and not just one. And unless video game roles do not count for considering what an "established" person in the industry is in TMDB's perspective.
(Btw, I know that even if that does make him an "established" actor, TMDB's stance is still not to include Prep School Blues- the note about established people in the contribution bible only aids in the decision of whether amateur content should be entered into the db, and isn't the main determining factor)

Indeed. It looks like they mostly do events.
I believe they are talking about this web series. The web series featuring Braden (Braden Davis) and Sam (Sam Erdahl) appears to be a different web series.
So, to recap, it wasn't produced by a established production company, the director and the actors do not appear to be established, and it's only available on YouTube. The first episode screened at REELING but, as far as I can tell, the festival doesn't qualify for an exception. But, on the plus side, Bob the Drag Queen is somewhat famous. Though call. Let me ask for a second opinion. I don't want to abuse the "established artist" clause.

What about Daniel Franzese who guest stars in the fifth and final episode? He was in Mean Girls and Looking (the TV show and the movie). Would he also be considered somewhat an established actor?

Shouldn't someone add a WOW Presents Plus Network entry?
(Also, should the web series UNHhhh have YouTube and Wow Presents Plus be added as it's Network, or should it only be YouTube?)
Right now I've only added YouTube, since I think that's where the web series originally first aired, though I'm really not sure (I'm gonna look this up soon).
On a side note, my deal on TMdb is this is kinda my way of "giving back" to all the movies and tv shows I've watched and enjoyed in my life, so I'm not really into the adding entries for things I haven't watched (yet) gig.
Edit: Not to mention I think I would need to get a subscription in order to view any credits/air dates for web series on Wow Presents Plus.

The networks (and company pages) are like people profiles. They have to be attached to at least one entry.
According to this Billboard article, the S3 episodes are released on Wow Presents Plus a week earlier. So I added it as a second network.

The webseries Video Game High School I believe first aired on the website RocketJump.com. (At least it seems like for season 1 of the web series, the episodes aired on that website before being released on YouTube). See: decription for S1 E1, wikipedia, vghs wikia.
I made a network entry for RocketJump.
Should it be named "RocketJump" or should it be "RocketJump.com"?
I mean, "RocketJump" is also a production company, aye?

How would I find the air dates for a Wow Presents Plus series without a subscription? A lot of their series, including this one which I am considering adding all info on (episode titles/dates/backdrops) get released on their (WOWPresents) YouTube channel but I think they are released much later than when they originally air on Wow Presents Plus.

I think there might be a problem with timezones?
Also, is it really evidence that when their twitter account tweets about an episode that that's when the episode aired? I would assume you should be looking for things like/you need things like "Tune in on Saturday...", "Last night the episode on Chemistry...", "The 13th and final episode is schedule to air Tonight on WOW Presents Plus...", "Watch next week on the 27th when the next episode airs", etc. to actually be evidence of when an episode aired based on a social media post?
EDIT: Can I just add episodic information (titles, episode overview, episodic backdrops) but remove the air dates for someone else to add later? Lol sounds kinda silly but someone can always add those later aye?
