What is the Difference between API Get Recommended movies and Get Similar movies?
How does this work? Based on what, the recommended movies are given to the user?

Similar is built by looking for items based on their keywords and genres. Recommendations are built by looking at user ratings. Very different approaches.
Similar does not tend to yield very good results, I almost exclusively recommend using recommendations instead.

Sorry to re-open an old discussion, but @travisbell can you be more specific about recommendations ? How is calculated ? Based on which user ratings exactly ?
