Hi Travis,
I noticed that /movie/changes returns null as the movie id in some cases. I suspect this happens when a movie was deleted, but doesn't comply with the docs. Returning the id would make much more sense here as a subsequent call for the movie details would return 404 indicating that it was deleted.
I assume there will be the same behaviour for tv changes but I have not encountered it so far.

Yes, that's correct. It happens for objects that have been deleted.

OK. So is this a bug in the API endpoint or in the documentation? I would prefer the first as it would make much more sense to be fixed there...

It is not a bug on the API, it's by design.

I think I am missing something here to get the full picture. So please understand why I am asking these questions. Right now the API is telling a client: "A movie has been deleted, but I won't tell you which one". What is the point of this? Wouldn't it be much better to just return the id?

Hi Jendrik,
Sorry about that, I missed the fact that you were mentioning the ID field, and not the adult field. The adult field being
null
on deleted items is by design.Ok, so for the ID field, that's a bug that I am aware that seems to be caused at time when the destroyed change log entry is written to the database.

OK, thanks. Let me know if you need me to test anything or provide further information in order to fix this.
