more than 20 result per page?

I am trying to build an android app for a course that I am in and wondering how can I get more the 20 movies that are in a page from a category like the now_playing one? the category for example has 51 pages and 1006 results the last time I checked and wondering how to reduce the amount of requests by getting more the 20 of each page. and the only request that supports the append_to parameter is the details for a movie!!

thanks Elizabeth Jennings I already found that by doing what I should have done before asking or creating a new unnecessary post!! I used the search option of the forum and found that this question has been asked many times... Thanks for your replay anyway.
