In the main support forums page, for the past couple of days, if I click on a thread (either the original post or the latest one), it doesn't actually take me to the thread. Instead, it just opens a little pop-up window that just shows the info I clicked on enlarged, as though through a magnifying glass. In order to get to the actual thread, I have to right-click on either the OP or last post and then select "open in new tab" from the dropdown menu. Then I can get to the thread in the new tab.

Hey @pt100,
Nothing has changed here on discussions for months so I don't have even a clue as to what it could be. There's been a few libraries updated here and there but nothing specific to discussions so if it's not happening anywhere else I really am not sure.
Unfortunately, I also don't have a Kindle to test with either... Do you know if the Kindle and/or browser that it uses was updated recently?

I don't recall it's being updated anytime recently. And this happens only on your forums. I've since discovered that if I just click on the magnification/popup, then it will take me to the post. I don't have to right-click and then tell it to open in a new tab. But either way, it still requires two steps to get there instead of one. Really weird.
Let me know if there's any more info I can furnish that might be helpful. Maybe someone else who has a Kindle Fire tablet will read this and can test it. It doesn't happen in Windows 10/Chrome browser.
EDIT: FYI, it doesn't happen when I go to my account/discussions and click the thread there. It seems to happen only on an original forum page; and not just support forums, but forums for TV shows, etc.

It's been happening to me also w/Kindle Fire. It seems to happen only on the forum pages, including stuff in the black area at the left. Elsewhere it's fine.

Interesting. Unless I can get a hold of a Kindle somehow, I don't think I'll be able to fix this. I don't think I know anyone with one but I'll keep it around in my head to mention if I come across someone who does so I can borrow it.

Thanks. Btw, I checked again last night, and it's gotten even weirder. It didn't used to happen in the Discussions section of My Account, but now it does there also. And last night it was happening on some threads but not all. Unless you can figure out anything you might have been doing lately re: ongoing tweaking of code, I guess this will just have to remain a mystery unless you can get a Kindle.

I haven't pushed any updates all week so it definitely sounds Kindle specific. Not sure I can even make a guess at this point.

Yes, it's certainly Kindle Fire tablet specific, I'm sure. It's not a big problem, so I'll just deal w/it.

Yes, I can also confirm that it happens w/Kindle Fire tablet but not Windows/Chrome. I don't know about other OSs/browsers. But it is a Kindle issue*_ on just your website forum pages_*, nowhere else on the Web and nowhere else on your website, AFAIK.
