When you search for a movie? Is there a way to sort the data from your API? Do you have a query string to sort it?

Hi there,
Searching has no sorting. Depending if you're just wanting to search for movies based on their data, you can look at discover. Discover can't search for movie titles though, so it's sort of a one or the other situation.

Has there been any adjustments to this? It would be nice to be able to sort the results we get rather than getting them by popularity.

Hi @cybersmoker, no this has not changed since 2018. Just a small clarification, search is not sorted by popularity, it's merely boosted by it. Search relevancy dictates most of it.
