The Movie Database Support

Hello!

I do filter films by genre horrors, and sort by date asc

and on page two, I get movies from 1993 to 2002 and immediately after the movie "brotherhood of the wolf" in 2001 comes the film "The Devil's Ridge" in 2007 and then again the films of 2001 and more. In the next page, same things(two movie 2004 year in list movie 2003 year) https://yadi.sk/i/a_i3HodF3QpjmX

p.s It seems that this problem also exists when sorting by date .desc

https://api.themoviedb.org/3/discover/movie?api_key=----&language=ru-RU&region=RU&sort_by=release_date.asc&include_adult=false&include_video=false&page=2&with_genres=27

upd:

and i don't understand, why if i add year date like 2007-01-01 filter list start on 2016-09-08

Sorting by date will used the earliest date found on that entry, not the regional date you're filtering for and by. Region simply tries to show you the right date (and filter by it when using release date filters).

There's no easy way to solve this which is why it hasn't been fixed. I do not have an ETA on a possible fix for this, it's very tricky to solve properly with the current system.

ehh, then I will have to make a crutch through js, sorting by date, although it will still be weird)
