I am having issues with trying to contribute to the database. I am running into a whole lot of listings that have their genres locked. This saddens me because my thing would be to bring some accuracy to the genres for purposes of better automated sorting of files renamed by filebot.
For example I think "How I met your mother" should have a mystery genre tag in addition to comedy, and "Crimson Tide" is not listed as a war film even though it's all about starting one.
Why am I not able to fix these OR EVEN SUGGEST A CHANGE? Wouldn't some kind of vote system (with 3 winning genres each) instead of predefined data enforcement create a more accurate database?
Nevari atrast filmu vai TV pārraidi? Jāpiesakās, lai to izveidotu.
Vēlies novērtēt šo vienumu vai pievienot to sarakstam?
Neesi dalībnieks?

Moderators can lock any field in the database that they think of as "perfect" or "true" or "done". So, they can lock genres, for example. That's what happened to those listings.
You can always click on the "Report" button/link on every page/listing and suggest that a locked field is falsely locked. Even moderators can make mistakes, they're only human
well, I hope so.So, if you argue your case per each item, that might work and you might be able to fix things -> but it's very work-intensive and it might take time for the mods to respond.
