The Movie Database Support

Just wondering about the People API. The API returns more keys for some actors compared to others. For example:

  • "id": 109999,
  • "name": "Christine Amor",
  • "also_known_as": [],
  • "gender": 0,
  • "biography": "",
  • "popularity": 0.000232,
  • "profile_path": null,
  • "adult": false,
  • "imdb_id": "nm0025177" }

  • "birthday": "1981-05-12",
  • "deathday": null,
  • "id": 17838,
  • "name": "Rami Malek",
  • "also_known_as": [ "רמי מליק"],
  • "gender": 2,
  • "biography": "Rami Said Malek (born May 12, 1981) is an American actor...",
  • "popularity": 4.890225,
  • "place_of_birth": "Los Angeles - Kaliforniya- ABD",
  • "profile_path": "/8izEo0mdbqw4AyXHejf4PNiMx3Z.jpg",
  • "adult": false,
  • "imdb_id": "nm1785339",
  • ** "homepage": null** }

I would think that all the keys would be returned even if they're empty/null (the same way 'biography' works). Is this intentional or a bug?

Good catch, I'll get that fixed. Here's the open ticket.

FYI--This was fixed a few weeks ago. Closing.
