Is there a way to pass the API a list of movie id's and have it return data for each movie similar to the way the discover returns multiple movies?

Hi there,
There is not right now. I have an open ticket for that here.

Reading that ticket seems to indicate that this will never be supported and the workaround is painful. Maybe I'm missing something, but it seems a normal use case is to track a list of favorite movie id's and be able to query that. Right now I have to loop on all the id's which is painfully slow. I haven't used the tmdb lists, but is that suited to storing multiple users favorites?

I don't think that's true. TMDb is a one man shop and I can only do so much work in a day. There's lots of tickets that are older than that that I still have plans to get to
Well our account favourites v3 \ v4 are the best suited. Second best would be a custom list, sure. v4 lists support mixed content (movies and TV shows in one list) which is nice too.

Ok, thanks Do you allow others to contribute to your code?

No, I am the only developer for TMDb. None of our code or project is open source.
