It'll be useful to add a field for adding the "TVMaze" ID along with Freebase, IMDb, TVDB, TVRage.
Freebase and TVRage are dead so they can be removed.

Hi @rhlagrwl42,
TVRage and Freebase remain simply for archive purposes even though they have been shut down for quite a while now.
With regards to other IDs, it's something I'll think about for the future. I don't have any immediate plans on adding any new IDs right now.

Thanks for the quick reply Travis. Do you know of any other ID providers other than TVMaze that are not on TMDB?

@travisbell it would be interesting to add the ID TVMaze, and put the Freebase and the TVRage in a line below to inform that they are dead and that is only for archive

I agree that eventually they'll be marked as inactive.
I still don't have any intentions of adding any more external id's at this time.

but one can't even reach an archive for freebase so isn't it useless to have the ID here?

I guess on the website it doesn't matter as much but the reason they've been left is because there's still other companies and projects who may have also been using them in the past just like we did. It can be handy to check the data if needed.

Do you have any intentions of adding any more external id's now? TVMaze got a lot more popular, so it would be useful if you add their ids.

Any updates here? TVMaze was very stable over the years, has a great API and would be a good addition in my opinion. I'm pretty sure TVDB will die in the next years because of the commercial way they chosen a while ago. TVMaze would be a good replacement.
