From the episode 3 of star trek discovery, I can not insert the synopsis in Portuguese / br, the following message appears:

Oops! -We can not find the page you're looking for. You do not seem to exist. If you believe this to be in error, let us know on the forums.

Thank you

I'll see if I can take a quick look at this today, it's been mentioned here already. I think it might just be something specific to the one show.

Can you see if it's working for you now?

ok now, thanks.

Travis, I'm having issues too, with profile pages. Lots of Eastern actors I can't give a profile like is a actor/actress etc. :(

For example: "Hitomi Terakado is a Japanese voice actress."

Hey Marr, what's an example page and edit you're trying to make that is causing an error? Also, are you getting an error?

https://www.themoviedb.org/person/1251436-hitomi-terakado/edit?active_nav_item=primary_facts&language=en-US

" There were some validation errors... / It seems as though you are entering text in Japanese while browsing in English. / Did you know that TMDb natively supports translations? /If you believe this to be an error, stop by the forums and let us know."

I bypassed it by looking up a fact about her, so then there was more text, and correctly recognised as English now. But I remember having the same issue with a Korean lesser known actor yesterday :(. I often try to add simple short biographies for people that don't have one.

// EDIT: I read that I wrongly hijjacked this thread, I thought it was a translation issue too,

// EDIT2: but now I also DO have an error, on this page: https://www.themoviedb.org/u/chaytah/activity

Wanted to view the activity because it seems they add lots of fan edits ;_; "Oops!—We've run into a snag! / There was a problem trying to load this page. If you would like to share what happened, please let us know on the forums."

That's ok wink

With regards to the translation detection problem, there isn't much I can do about it. Google Translate is only so good without much text. Google Translate is pretty much the best in the world at this so if they can't figure it out all I can recommend is adding more words.

Re: the timeout error, go back after ~10 seconds and it will likely work. Not much I can really do about that one either, but there might be a slight tweak to the DB query or timeout value I can make.
