Initially uploaded one with the incorrect aspect ratio which I'd like to get deleted if possible.
The issue I'm having however is that even though the second upload is valid I can't set it as primary.
The poster appears via a web browser but doesn't show up in Kodi

I deleted the page you created because it is a duplicate of the original https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/12230-one-hundred-and-one-dalmatians. Primary posters are only set by moderators, otherwise it depends on people voting on the images.

ok great but could you perhaps consider renaming it then? it's fairly confusing that you can't find the film by searching its real title of "101 dalmations" whereas the new film with the same title does come up.

The film was originally released as one hundred and one; 101 is added as an alternative title and if you search for it, on the search page it does show up (albeit last because the other films have 101 in their original title).

it doesn't show up if you search for "101 dalmations" which is counter intuitive given that the dvd sleeve and poster both say "101 dalmations"

That's because it is spelled dalmatians, not dalmations. It does show up when you search 101 dalmatians, but I have also added 101 dalmations as an alternative title. It should show up now, regardless of how you spell it.

it now shows up as a suggestion when you get as far as typing "101 dal" which wasn't the case before, thanks

Great, closing topic. Also, before deleting I noticed the two images you uploaded have watermarks. If you are going to be uploading images in the future, please do not upload ones with watermarks, as they will be deleted. Thanks.
