I honestly do not remember ever seeing production codes for French TV series. According to the wikipedia article, some countries do use a ISAN-like format. Do the episodes have code in the end credits or in the DVDs?

When the production order is known, but the production codes are unknown, we usually use "101", "102", ... ; "201", "202", ... ; "301", "302", ... as production codes. If you can't find the production order, it's best to leave the production code field blank.

I think it's only some producer which use ISAN Code, I've see it in the end of some documentary's. Merci pour the information's
