I'm trying to filter out actors who only have Bollywood/Indian films or only Chinese films. Is there any variation of these that are possible?

Thanks!

Hi @ParadoxApps Unfortunately, not really. There isn't really any kind of filtering like that from a person perspective.

ok thanks.

are there any plans of incorporating this? I was trying to get popular actors based on region but was not able to

Hi @dingorules, there are no immediate plans for this right now but as the use cases for a person discover crystallize it's something that is more and more likely to be created. I've added a link to this discussion on my open ticket to think about a person discover method.

Cheers.

My inputs here would be the region should be constraint on all content (i.e people/movies/tv shows). The CrossPollination of content/people across region is more of an exception rather than a norm i.e a Chinese actor in a HollyWood movie(does exist) but i am not sure how interesting it is. As a fan of the Chinese actors I would want my list of familiar actors on top, as opposed to actors I have no idea about being on top(this will in-turn effect traffic into the actors website).

For movies and TV shows, there's the with_original_language filter, which can get you 90% the way there. The higher level issue is that aside from the "origin country" field on TV, there isn't really any other field that can help you figure out where the content originated from.

Right, I was mostly making a point for "people".
