The Movie Database Support

I'm currently having issues scrapping movies using your database add-on and wondered if there was currently any issues with this that you are aware of? I am currently being met with an Unable to connect to remote server message when scrapping new films.

Hi there,

There are no known issues with our service (now or earlier). I would suggest contacting the developer of the app you are using for help.

I'm having e same issue since today. I'm using Kdlinks A400 on kodi 16.1. Any help please? Thanks in advance.

Take a look at this thread, it highlights the problem and i fixed mine by manually updating certain add-ons as i listed below.

I originally tried updating the add-ons including the dependencies which had no effect, however after updating and choosing the latest version listed for the following:-

  1. The Movie Database Scraper Library
  2. IMDB Scraper Library
  3. The Movie Database

The Movie Database the versions have now updated and changed to the latest which for me is

  1. The Movie Database Scraper Library 2.16.0
  2. IMDB Scraper Library 2.8.8
  3. The Movie Database 3.9.5

I also tried the initial going into add-ons, my add-ons and then the left hand menu and check for updates.

One of these fixed it for me, so might be worth a try for anyone having a similar issue. Very odd that they didn't update automatically as it is set to do so, seems as if i had to force an update by doing it manually.

Take a look at this thread https://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=316327

I was having the same issue the past few days, running LibreElec. I updated the plugins (settings > add-ons) and it fixed the problem.

Thanks buddy for sharing. Today when I start my kodi, everything got updated.

Thanks for the tip, found that Libreelec was not updating TMDB and was staying at 3.17, I turned on settings > add-ons/ install updates automatically, restarted and voila! Back in business. FYI manually updating addons and dependencies did not work, not sure why.

Love Lebreelec big time Android Kodi = Lada Libreelec Kodi = Mercedes

hello to all,

i am having trouble scraping for tv show genre drama. The scraper constantly scrape wrong information about a tv show titled "Lie to Me" which was aired in 2011. The scraper would constantly install "Lie to Me" aired in 2009.

I have named my tv shows folder "Lie to Me (2011)" and still my Kodi 18.5 tmdb addon still scrapes the 2009 ones. I am using the default TMDB TV information scraper version 3.4.0

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
