How to get list of upcoming season premieres

Hello guys. How can I get a list of upcomming season premieres (air date for the first episode of a new season for a tv show)... Preferebly to within a week of the current date. I would like to use the info to alert users of an app that a new season of a series they liked is about to air soon: "season x of a tv series you like (GoT for example) premeires today/y days from now". Which section of the docs should I reference. Thanx in advance. Cheers.

There isn't really a way to do this right now. This has been asked about a few times and I have some rough plans on how it will work. The ticket for this work is here.
In the meantime, all you can query is air dates (upcoming episodes). There's no way to restrict it to premieres. There's a good chance when I build our new home page there will be a section for this which means even I am interested in building it

Oh and how can someone get the season that is airing for tv shows listed by the 'Get TV On The Air' query... seems like that should be a logical feature. Do I really have to perform a get by id query for all the results in order to access the season that is on air or (ideally) can I get the season that is on air using just one query??
