This will likely get added at some point (I already have this added as an open ticket) but I don't have time for discussion feature work right now. I'm busy with a lot of other stuff for a few months. For now, the "Active Boards" list on your account page will have to do.

I noticed there is an option to be notified when the first post is made on a board. The same option for notification of posts on any board would work as an interim. It makes it a lot easier when people don't have time to trawl through the discussions and want to quickly checkup on news for films they are interested in.

Yup, for sure. I want to extend that notification feature to be more than just the first post but also just a "notify me about new posts". Ironically, once you have that enabled and the first post is made, you can't actually turn it off right now so you will actually get notified about every new post. I can probably find some time to add that button pretty easily. I'll see if I can fit it in.
