Travis, I have a more technical question regarding the csv upload of my ratings from IMDb and my rating history.
I love the new design of my ratings here (so much better than before - great job) and the possibilities to sort my movies/shows differently. But I still miss my "real" rating history from IMDb - it's not identical and that bothers me (it might sound silly, but I remember movies I watched in the past and I get easily confused when something is not correct in time).
So, my idea was to import my ratings via csv file again and it's done. Bad idea, because only those will be added that were missing before. All the others stay, because they were already imported, and the new one's are being added at the top - nooooooo! You see, bad idea.
So, better idea: Do you think it would be possible to implement a possibility for me to delete all my ratings? If I'm not mistaken, that's not possible right now - or is it? I can delete lists, though. If I would be able to delete my ratings, I could run my csv file with the ratings again from time to time, and, eventually, get my IMDb rating history back. That would be awesome!
Also, tiny question: When I import my ratings via csv file, do you keep the time stamps from the third column (name "created") in the csv file or do you overwrite those with your own time stamps? If you keep them, would it be possible to show those dates in the rating list? I would love this.
And another thing I want to write: I love the display of the previous import lists with the linked IMDb numbers! Now it will be so much easier to find all my rated titles that are still missing here on TMDb. Thanks for this!
Best wishes,
janar

I do not currently import the
created
column. I actually have an open ticket to start bringing that data in, and if I am not mistaken with what you are asking for, I think that would solve your problem right? You just want the dates and times you rated the item on IMDb (or when you watched it, specifically) to be reflected here right? The way I plan on this working is not going to need clearing your rated items, when I add support for this (which I hope to get to in the next few days) you'll be able to simply re-import your file and it will grab that field and update the date rated here.
Thanks for the kind words about the new pages, they were long overdue and something that can now be built upon. The old pages kinda sucked and weren't worth investing any more time in.

Yes, that's exactly what I would like to have!
Of course, if that works even better without clearing all of them, I'm all for it!
They are really great ...

@janar72 Support for importing the
created
field is now in place. If you re-import your CSV, the system will simply re-save the creation dates and then when you're viewing your rating history by "Date Rated" everything will be how you expect itI'll see about getting the date to show up on rollover (that's my plan) later this afternoon, this way you can actually see the date as well.
@Hobnobber Support for exporting your lists will be coming up soon. It's planned. Also, regarding orders, when importing to your custom lists is supported, there will be an option to simply keep the "original input order" just like exists right now on our custom lists.
Cheers.
