I am trying to do a request for popular shows. I also need the external ID's of the shows. I tried to add append_to_response=external_ids to the api call but it does not seem to add the external IDs in the request. The full request I am trying to do is

https://api.themoviedb.org/3/discover/tv?api_key=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx&language=en-US&sort_by=popularity.desc&page=1&timezone=America/New_York&include_null_first_air_dates=false&append_to_response=external_ids

Any ideas on how I can get the external IDs in this request?
