Here is the code I am running and it is supposed to get back the top rated childrens movies I know this because I copy and pasted it directly from the examples on the /discover/movie page. However no matter how I change the sorter variable the function will only return the most popular movies in general. the first is Logan and I know this is not a childrens movie so what am I doing wrong?

You're not building a valid URL.

sorter = "&certification_country=US&certification.lte=G&sort_by=popularity.desc"
url = "https://api.themoviedb.org/3/discover/movie?api_key=" + str(api_key) + "&language=en-US" + sorter

Would be along the right path.

Thanks man!
