It's more like the tagline/undertitel, we put the "long title" in alternatives though;

That's funny. It seems as if there is no consistency in the decisions the mods make. Samara did exactly the opposite of you (see changes of Feb. 7th 2017). I don't want to be to rude, but there are really many German movies that get titles with (more or less) linke taglines/undertitel by Samara...

Yeah, we discussed that internally recently, and the title - tagline was added mainly because of IMDb, and if I'm correct the German translation should now show "Undertitel" for tagline, to make it more clear to users too. Samara said that movies with an English title, often get a German tagline to "explain" the title.
We came to these standards regarding German title/taglines (might've been after February 7th though, think it was around the 20th, because the 25th we discussed about a proper translation for "tagline" in the German translation!);
