Hello, I'd like to import my ratings from imdb, but as I was testing there is no way to tell if "created" (the date when I actually rated the film) is imported. I even created the API key and looked at rated list but it seems like the date is not there :(, that makes me sad. I know that the new account page is coming and probably will have sorting by the newest - its just that I'd like to know when I've rated the film and there is no place to verify if its stored somewhere or not. Could you clarify that please?
Thank you.

If TMDB's database doesn't contain that field also, the easy solution is to just backup the .csv file for later.

Hi Jan,
The created field from the IMDb export is not currently used, no. You're actually the first person to ask for this. It's not a hard thing to add though, and I can certainly see about adding it.

Yeah but the question is how do you apply the new field to the rest of people who already imported their ratings, did you backup everyone's .csv files?

No, you would have to re-import it if you wanted it (specifically in this case: overwrite) the created at date.

Then you need to work faster to implement pinned topics so you can make an announcement that sticks. I'm sure many people would want that as well.
Or maybe you could mass e-mail everyone as admin?

A combination of email and/or use the notification centre

@jonny.net I just pushed the ability to import the
created
field from the exported IMDb CSV's. If you re-import your CSV, it will simply overwrite the created at dates, and the "Date Rated" order in your account will reflect the proper dates now.Reply by MrRadical

Great news, Travis.

Great, it worked like a charm! Thank you very much. Just a small question: the Date Rated is saved even when I rate on the TMDB film now or is it only for the IMDB imports? :)

Awesome, no problem!
The date you rate it on TMDb was always saved, and it continues to be yes. Updating a rating will not change the date it's ordered in your account list though, it's a created at date, not updated at date.

Oh I see, in that case its basically right how I like it. You're doing a great job with the TMDB support, I'm enjoying the experience here very much. ;)
