It's not marked as a compilation, it's marked as a video, not really a movie. Which I think is correct. As it's deleted/extended scenes from the Fire Walk With Me film, and only got a one-off screening (and as extras/special features on "Twin Peaks: The Entire Mystery"), for what I could find online.
It's not a full high budget movie for sure but it should be allowed on the site not as video though since it was originally released as a long video and not just a few episodes stuck on a VHS.

Exactly. The video field is for "content that aren't truly movies". We usually don't allow deleted scenes/different versions. The facts that it got a one-off screening and is one long video are probably the only reasons why it wasn't deleted.
While not made in a common film way Lynch still had the idea to stick it and make it it's own film and not just stick it as deleted scenes. It has a intro and credits for example.
Stand up comedy specials and children compilations have that too. But those are marked as video too. (Unless it got a theatrical release. Not a one-off one. Like Kevin Hart: Let Me Explain).
One could see it as a compilation of deleted scenes and one could see it as an extra feature on a DVD. I'm sure it's expertly put together, but it still falls a little bit outside of our movie definition. When we get support for multiple versions of the same movie I see this as being an extension to Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me. And 99 times out of 100 this entry would have been deleted so be happy it's in the database.

I would just want it as movie for me to put it on letterboxd alongside the main picture.

They tend to follow our lead in these cases, but sometimes they choose a different path. I don't think they will add this one though.
