Budget/Revenue Currency Symbol

How do we know whether the budgets/revenues are in dollars, euros, yen etc? Or is it just always USD?

All currency values on TMDb is assumed to be USD.

Sorry for entering this thread, but in my opinion my question is in the same connection. Is it possible (feature request) to enhance the database for other currencies? I mean, to publish not only in usd but also in euros for example?

It might be at some point, but I think it might only make sense in the case to tie the currency to the production country or original release or something like that. Regardless, this is not planned right now. I actually already have an old ticket from 2013 here.
