DVD covers - am i allowed to upload?

Hi, i really do love the site! I was happily started with it and just started to upload hungarian DVD covers as backdrops for movies. So far i've done it for 3 movies:

Just would like to know if i'm allowed to upload DVD covers. I took care for the following while uploading:
- correct image size
- correct image aspect ration
- selecting hungarian language for the image (as DVD cover image contains hungarian text)
Cropping the image for the correct aspect ration sometimes cuts bottom of the cover but i think it is okay (logos are gone sometimes).
If it is prohibited to upload DVD covers please delete the images and let me know. Thanks, chris

dvd images shouldn't be in backdrops... as far as I know.
You should cut of the non-cover (the left area) and upload it into posters instead! :)
backdrops is where you upload stills from the movie/promotional images. When they contain text, they should go to the correct language "section", like this one: https://image.tmdb.org/t/p/original/6C4EQZFlLSYUPpxeBvEVVGMyVdQ.jpg

Hi Chris,
No, these are not considered valid backdrops and will be deleted. It's not that you didn't follow the image guidelines, I appreciate the effort of trying but it's just not the kind of image we consider to be a backdrop.

Thanks for the quick reply for both of you! And so thank you for the information you just shared with me on backdrops!
Travis, It's absolutely no prob at all my uploaded images to get deleted, as a new member i'm trying to avoid doing invalid moves on TMDb - hence the question. Now i see the difference between backdrop and dvd cover. It makes sense. By the way i'd support the feature of attaching DVD-covers to movie records, though i don't know if anyone else would as DVDs may go out of fashion pretty soon (... if not yet).
