I'n not sure how it works for TV pages, but for movie pages the Japanese official site would only be added for the Japanese translation and so on. So it should be fine as is now.

That isn't active for shows yet and probably will not be for a while. Seeing as the Aniplex (US) site is mainly for reselling info and nothing else I still rather have the official (JP) site.

The thread lock-game is my favorite to play on TMDB... http://i.imgur.com/JYQA4u3.png
TV shows do not support language specific websites.. it's not like I haven't tested that before. The official site is the Japanese one given that it's a Japanese show. Discuss.

So we are to assume that the information will only be useful for our Japanese users then ? I'll let someone else decide about that, but for me the English language information can stay until the design has been fixed.
Not sure what game you are talking about. I don't have time for games and I haven't touched this topic since I replied the last time.

We are to assume that as long as something is not supported in multi language fields it should be the official content (runtime, title, etc.). Travis stated in the year review that 40% of users do not browse in English so I don't think the site should or wants to cater to just the English audience (there is also google translate). I don't see the advantage of a static page to advertise streaming over one that gets constant updates with up to date episode lists and news even if it's not in English (in this actual case). Once the field works like it does on movies anyone can backfill it then, just like with every other feature Travis adds.
And the game I partake is reopening threads that are closed without resolution or reply. This happens a bit too often for my taste so yeah, somebody has the time...

I thought I made clear that I didn't close anything so this could be any user (or different moderator) pulling your leg. The reply appeared to be a response to me which is why I pointed that out.
I understand your points 100 percent, but will not make the change. If some of our resident TV-experts agree with you, I'm fine with it, but for now it stays the way it is. It's worth pointing out that for all sections on site without translations (biographies, cast names, character names etc) English is the default standard.

No offense, I know it wasn't you. I'm just saying a moderator does this quite a lot. Since it's a delegated user group by TMDB and I can't see who did it's only reasonable for me to point the fingers at that group, which includes you too ;).
As for content without translations: It would be great if the guidelines mentioned this but they don't. You can find mentions of multi language fields and what not but that does not automatically mean that the link has to be for English content (nor does it stay it should be English then, that's just the assumption). Certain fields symbolize the desired language for the input but that is not consistent through each section itself (movies for example). I know I'm being bitchy over this little change but unless this is clearly defined I'm seeing this request as valid.
