Movies by Character

I am wanting to find a list of movies by character e.g. Movies with Jack Ryan, who has been played by a multitude of actors such as Harrison Ford, Ben Affleck, and Alec Baldwin et al - let alone the number of actors that have played Batman or other superheroes. Is this possible, or could it be made so?

I've created a new ticket for this. I have thought of this before and think it would indeed be pretty neat.
