Different Editions Of Movies?

Hi Guys and Gals I seem to remember hearing a rumor or seeing a post in the forums that this site was going to start incorporating into there API (and/or site) a way to scrape (on apps like Kodi) for different editions of movies ie X-Men Days Of Future Past & X-Men Days Of Future Past The Rogue Cut. If I heard or seen correctly and that is true; may I ask when its going to happen or please tell me if my recollection is wrong.

As it is now we only allow one (original) version of a movie. All other editions/cuts will be deleted. Since we have talked about creating a solution for this issue for many years, maybe something is going on behind the scenes. Perhaps the admin, or someone with more information, can help you out with your question.

We do not yet support multiple edits or cuts of movies. This is still on my radar and like I have always said, something I hope to find time to get to. Of course as TMDb continues to grow, my time is being spread every so thin so it's getting harder and harder to get through the bigger features than every before :(

Hello, i just stumbled upon the issue, with multiple (extended) version of The Hobbit movies. Is there any progress on the topic?

How much does the new implemented "Multiple release dates per country and by type" feature shorten this one?

Hi Luca,
Definitely shortens it as it was a requirement for ticket #470. Still not next on my priority list though but it is bubbling up. I expect to get this done in the next 6 months.

@travisbell Hey I'm just curious If their was any progress on this issue yet? I know its been a little over 2.5 years since it was opened and about 1.75 years since the last reply.

None yet. The big four features are still:
They have not changed, it's just a matter of finding time to get to them.

Soooooo It's been a little over 2 Years (2y 3m exactly) since the last comment on this topic. That being said..........
