Are you looking for a solution for movies or for TV shows? Movies already supports querying the release dates by region so you should be able to get what you're after there. For TV shows, no, origin country is not yet hooked up.

The movies are exactly what I'm looking for, however and to be honest, I don't figure out how I can discover the movies for given "origin_country" with the region, certification_country, release_dates... and other filters.

For example movie: https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/381341-perfetti-sconosciuti?language=en-US

that is produced in Italy with the API response attributes:

:production_companies=>
  [{:id=>19916,
    :logo_path=>nil,

    :origin_country=>""}],

AND with many release_dates:

Hi,

I have used "with_original_language" filter to discover movies for given country and the result is pretty close to what I wanted to achieve initially. Maybe this workaround would also be helpful to somebody else...
