Travis, can you tell me if the actors names are only in fullname format in your DB. My experience with sort/search of names only functions in a meaningful why if names are stored as: surname, forenames (or forename, middlename(s). If your API is in fullname format only then I will be parsing this to the latter. Would you be interested in the resulting data (i.e. actor's TMDB id, Fullname, Surname, Forenames)?
I have not added any movies to your DB as of yet but I am assuming that the user entry for actors allows for fullname only. Pls advise...

Hi Joe,
We store person names as a single full name field. We do not have them separated into surname or forename.

Thanks Travis;
When I have parsed them into separate names would you like the results???
I would be pleased to contribute them.

Hi Joe,
We don't have any use for them at the moment. Thanks for the offer though :D
