Hi all,
is there a way to derive the Rotten Tomatoes ID (or the link to the Rotten Tomatoes movie description page) if I know its TMDb or IMDb ID?
Regards, Eduard

Yes, sadly they just recently became very picky with giving out API keys... Therefore that's probably not an option. Also support for IMDb alias search (http://www.rottentomatoes.com/alias?type=imdbid&s=0146309) was discontinued.
Seems like they've done some fundamental changes to their company policy - not for the good if you ask me.

Hi there,
Just like Eduard I have experienced that RT gets more picky on providing access to their API. At the moment I don't know if I will be able to get access to it in the future since I want to do a small private project. What I really need in that project is the RT ratings in order to distinguish the good stuff from the bad stuff. It would be awesome if this information could be made available in your API. Adding IMDB ratings would be cool too. I guess a lot of people will be interested in IMDB ratings, but my personal preference goes out to the RT ratings.
In my opinion this API is the best I have seen for movies. Adding RT and IMDB ratings will make it even more awesome and in my case usable for my project. So, please, please, please consider adding it ;-)
Best regards,
Bart

While it does not solve my problem and I'd totally love if TMDb supported the requested features at some point, the functionality you need bliepbloep is already fully covered by OMDb API, so it seems today is your lucky day ;-)
