Holiday movies not taged as holiday in genres

i have found some Holiday movies not tagged as holiday in genres and are locked is there any way this can be fixed? or is there a reason for it

"Holiday" is not a valid genre on TMDb.
If there's any movies that are marked as holiday it would have been leftover from when we did have it as a valid genre back in ~2010.
I would suggest using plot keywords to help build a list of holiday movies.

Interesting, that's definetly a bug. We haven't supported holiday for ~4 years. They'll be getting removed this week. There's a bunch of little issues around genres that need to get cleaned up.

I would also like the holiday genre back. Just been trying to tag a movie. Whats the problem with grouping christmas films together? Makes sense to me

I think Holiday is not a genre and for example foreign is not either, in every country a movie with a different language as to be used in the country is foreign, that makes no sense

Like I said, "Holiday" hasn't been a genre on TMDb for over 4 years and unfortunately won't be again. There's an old thread locate here discussing the potential changes. I realize that thread is 1.5 years old but the gist of it is the same.
Plot keywords are a perfect use case to group holiday, or halloween, or whatever other example you can think of.

It's kinda off topic but for ppl that wanna add it it's super easy to edit genre's in plex

I don't honestly know if Plex has any way of using our keywords or not. It would be best to contact them to find out.
