The Movie Database Support

Hi,

When I query movie images I'm limited to searching for English (i.e. iso_639_1: "en"). I'm trying to return UK English posters, but at the moment the images are a mix of UK/US/Other English countries. Is it possible to refine the data further? I know the data isn't there at the moment, but could you expand the options to en-us / en-gb / etc?

maybe this already exists somehow and I've missed it?

thanks Tim

Hi Tim,

You are correct, the data doesn't even exist in the DB at the moment. While we have plans to split the translations up into proper country specific languages (ticket for that is here) I had never thought of needing this for images.

It's not a bad idea although I'm not sure when either of these will get looked at. Here's the new ticket.

As it stands right now, we only have an ISO-639-1 code attached to images.

Hi Travis,

thanks for considering this. Sometimes I don't recognise the artwork because it's so different, but conversely it's sometimes identical. It would be a nice feature.
