The Movie Database Support

recently had to redo my xbmc. i remember IT (1990 scary clown stephen king movie) being on my movies before. now it wont scrape. why is it not in the database anymore? i know it originally aired as a 2 ep tv special... but it is still a stand alone movie/film.

ok thanks. the "stephen king's" part was throwing my searches off.

I’m not positive whether or not the universal scraper searches with years but if it does, you should be able to find it fairly easily.

On the website, you can use the y: xxxx notation. So for example (it y:1990):

http://www.themoviedb.org/search?query=it+y%3A1990

Yields it as the first result. The API behaves the same way so it should work ok assuming they search with years.

The movie version of the entry is now deleted. Can we get it re-added, please?

Fair enough. I appreciate the update and the work you mods do. Just wish there was a way I could get my single-file Plex DVD rip, to pull data from the TV series section of TheMovieDB, into the "movies" library where I keep this movie. Ah well; not your fault. I can understand not wanting to maintain duplicate data.
