tv/season/episode /latest methods

Hi
I apologize if this was added as an issue or was requested before
It would be great to access the last tv/season/episode id's similar to movie's and person's
The reasoning is mostly planning for episode's and season's - I will probably not touch detailed information about episode if the number is 10 million or something :) (I will just parse them from the season data) - otherwise it might be fun to parse the cast of the episode's too

Any news on this one? I'm using "tv/on_the_air" to get what's coming up but I'd like to be able to quickly find which episode is actually going to be coming up. I guess I could parse each series looking for the latest episode in the latest season but I'm not sure that would give me the correct result (could it give me planned episodes?) and would take additional API calls...

These /latest calls wouldn't help you with what you're looking for. You're looking for more what I have planned for ticket #470, and #471.
There was another user looking for this here, and the best we could come up with for now is to get the last season and parse the episode list to figure out what was last or what is next.

/next_to_airwould be ideal! At the moment I get the TV show info, grab the season count from that, grab the episodes list for that season and then parse until I find the first one beyond or on today's date. Works fine but is three API calls. :)Chris

Just an update, tickets #470 and #471 were completed this morning. These two tickets include adding a
last_episode_to_airandnext_episode_to_airfield to the TV series get details call. The documentation for the get details method can be found here.P.S. you might not see the updated responses on all TV series yet, as some items will still need to be expired from the cache.
