There are may things they are just closed.
I think it would be much better if it's closed with a reason. Something like "Closed as done", "Closed as wont fix"
If there's feedback we need to respond with, say a content report that isn't a valid, we should be replying to the thread with the details. Anything that is just closed in the content issues forum generally represents it as being completed.
For the rest of the forums, general, website, api, I always reply with questions, comments or links to new tickets.
Is there a particular thread or post that you don't think was closed properly?

If you handle it like this, why don't write it under the closed discussion. Something like this:

For me personal it's just a bit irritating to look at a closed thing without knowing why someone closed it.
