I have this website called potlocker.net, and I payed $400 to modmyscript.com about a year ago for a plugin to be created for my phpmelody site, that will get movie title and info by IMDB ID for posting movies quicker, instead of copy and pasting everything manually. and after waiting for like forever to have my order delivered to me, he said he could not get it to automatically get info from IMDB because it would be illegal if IMDB was not paid to get rights to do that, and he said it was thousands of dollars. he said that the only way to do it was to automatically get info from this site, but still would work with IMDB IDs.

2 or 3 weeks ago my plugin stopped working, when I try to use it, it just puts the IMDB ID that I entered, in the movie title line, just like how it does when I try to use it for a movie that is not on TMDB.

My question is, is this plugin using the API thing I am reading about on here, and was there some kind of change that was made to the API 2 or 3 weeks ago that would cause it to stop working. I myself can not inspect the code in the plugin because it is encrypted code, and trying to contact modmyscript.com support is not working either, they are no help at all.
