I have a question because of a special case for collections. We all know the fine movies Iron Man/Iron Man 2, The incredible Hulk, Thor, Avengers, Captain America... on their own they are already in a collection and under normal circumstances this would be fine.
But those movies belongs to "The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU)" which is a special case. All off 'em are part of a bigger storyline with prequels and sequels (i think, the current chronological order is: Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Hulk, Captain America, Thor, Avengers). In the endings/beginnings of these movies you can see parts of the "next series", so these are in my opinion a whole collection (including the upcoming new movies Iron Man 3, Thor 2, Captain America: Winter Soldier and Avengers 2).
Would it make sense to loose the old collections and put 'em into one big collection like https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/143177-marvel-cinematic-universe?language=en ?

I'm agree with ShiningDragon. Each movie segue into the next. And the actually order is : Ironman, The Incredible Hulk, Ironman 2, Thor, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Avengers, Ironman 3, ... So it will be a really good idea to have a specific collection for them.

As previously discussed, that's not quite the way collections are intended to work on TMDb. We already have a list for the Marvel Cinematic Universe so I'm not entirely clear what changing this would improve. As it stands right now we're able to group sequels together, and still have lists for things like universes.
I understand the point you're trying to make, that these are sequels but it still goes against the precedent we've set for collections since there would then be no way to know what (for example) Iron Man movies there are.
Also, if there are some missing movies / you feel the order is incorrect, you can create a discussion right on the list itself to suggest changes or improvements. We only recently added the ability to re-order movies on lists for example.

i agree and i not understand if it's a rule that a movie can be collected only in one collection or it's because it's locked in the collection. sorry i'm new. thanks.
